- We are currently becoming very booked up so to avoid disappointment please book in advance or give us a call and we will try our best to fit you in. Thank you for the continued support!
- We are still running out recommend a friend discount. Every new client you bring to us, they will receive a discount and so will you!
July 2023 - Meet out new stylist
As of the beginning of July, you will now see our new creative stylist Kara in the salon. Having started her hairdressing career in 2015 she has had plenty of experience in the industry. We know your hair will be in a safe pair of hands and we are very excited to have her with us! If you would like to get booked in with Kara please give us a call or send us a message.
June 2023 - Welcoming a new arrival
We are very happy to let you know that our stylist Jess has had her little boy. Albert made his arrival on 30th June. Jess and family are doing well and Albert is absolutely gorgeous! Huge congratulations!
April 2023 - New Apprentice
We have a new apprentice starting with us! Some of you may already know Nia, she has been our salon assistant since last July and is now coming on full time with us to complete her NVQ level 2 in hairdressing. We will eventually be looking for models in many aspects of hairdressing as she progresses so please keep you eyes peeled foe further infomation if you would like to be a model
January 2023 - Our Apprentice Rosie will be qualifying soon
Our lovely Rosie is flying through her apprenticeship and producing some fantastic work so we are very excited to let you know she will be fully qualified soon as a junior stylist! We are still looking for some models to give Rosie all the best experience to kick start her hairdressing career so please get in contact if you wish to be a model or to book an appointment with her! We can't wait to share her outstanding skills with you!
December 2023 - A New Arrival At Route 51
We are absolutely delighted to let you know that Jess and her partner Jeremy are expecting! Our Route 51 family is due to get bigger this summer meaning Jess will no longer be in the salon from June 9th! Dont worry though as she will be back after enjoying her maternity time off with a beautiful new addition and in the mean time we will make sure that any appointments you need are fulfilled by the rest of our team!
We are so excited for Jess and her family and wish them all the best with this exciting new chapter!
Wednesday 11th August 2021 - In salon training with our colour house Goldwell
We believe that you can never know too much and there's no such thing as being finished with learning especially when new trends and techniques are always around! Thats why the team at Route 51 love to have a catch up with our Goldwell Trainer to really gain all the knowledge available to us as hairdressers. Thank you to Goldwell and to Kelly for an amazing training session, I think its safe to say that our team came away very excited and fired up to start creating beautiful balayages with new tips and techniques under their belt!
